Manual Therapy:

A manual therapist begins with a physical therapy background, then pursues years of advanced education that sets him or her apart from general physical therapists. This specialized education and training can be in a variety of specialized manual therapy philosophies.

Erik and Shaun have extensive training in manual therapy and Erik teaches these techniques all over the country to physical therapists, medical doctors and chiropractors. Manual therapy techniques are designed to increase movement, decrease pain and allow the patient to return to function quickly. Because the manual therapy approach integrates exercises within the treatment, patients benefit from quicker relief, more lasting pain relief and overall a much quicker return to full activity. This, in turn, minimizes the risk of reoccurrence.
